This study is devided into three chapters. The first one highlights the biography of Sheikh Muhammad Al-Ghazali and his Islamic production and his attitude towards orientalism. The second chapter highlights the biography of the Orientalist Goldzhier and his attitude towards Islam, the last chapter focuses on the claims of Goldzhier on the Islamic doctrine and the responses of Sheikh Mohammed al-Ghazali. The study accentuated Sheikh Mohammed al-Ghazali's efforts in defending Islam and Islamic culture, and recommended the importance of standing up to the Orientalist thought and confronting its dangers.
