International students’ well-being is affected by their ability to adapt to their new campus environment. There are different strategies that investigate methods to help international students' adaptation. One of these strategies is to use multimedia tools to assist in adjusting to new environments, especially the use of multimedia manuals as guiding tools. This research project creates a multimedia manual that acts as a guide to Education City (EC) in Qatar for international students, bearing in mind that currently, there is no similar multimedia guide. The researcher began by reviewing literature regarding the use of multimedia tools as guiding methods in different fields. To create the Education City Multimedia Manual (ECMM), an autoethnographic method was used to identify students' concerns and allow them to find answers in the manual. The ECMM is created in a PDF and mp4 format using Canva and Adobe Illustrator tools. A discussion of the manual’s method of delivery is provided, in addition to section descriptions and the EC locations they introduce. This research project contributes to the study of multimedia manuals as a students’ aid to adapting to new environments.
