The prolonged conflict in Afghanistan has significantly impacted the country's stability and education system, particularly affecting women and girls. This research explores the challenges, migration motivations, and future aspirations of Afghan women students who migrated to Qatar post-2021 Taliban takeover. Through qualitative, semi-structured interviews, the study reveals that these students had better access to rights and education before the Taliban's return. The ban on education and harsh restrictions were major push factors, while the opportunity to pursue education in a safe environment was a pull factor. Afghan women students face post-migration challenges, including uncertainty about their future and mental health issues. The research highlights challenges, opportunities, and support received in Qatar, as well as the students' future goals to contribute to Afghanistan's development. Policy recommendations aim to inform host nations like Qatar to facilitate adaptation, economic self-sufficiency, and support for Afghan women students and refugees, advocating for continued educational access, psychological well-being, and inclusive educational pathways.
