This research seeks to understand how Qatari women reason their educational and professional choices of participating in the media sector. To address this question, 12 face-to-face interviews were conducted with Qatari female students and employees. The Qualitative Content Analysis methodology was utilized to provide an in-depth analysis of the interviews. The findings indicate that most of the women were able to study or work in the media sector regardless of the sociocultural constraints, through dialogue, perseverance, insistence, and abiding by their traditions. Thus, women were able to modify the sociocultural context in order realize their aims of studying and working in the media.
