This two-day workshop, a platform for addressing renewable integration challenges, focused on three key topics: models, studies, and grid codes. Its primary goal was to foster discussion between industry and academia on key aspects of power systems and serve as a forum to share experiences, transfer knowledge, and facilitate discussion to address concerns among various stakeholders in the power systems community. The workshop was designed to cater to the knowledge needs of engineers and researchers who specialize in renewable integration, power system planning, and grid operation within Qatar, the GCC region, and globally. It brought together experts from around the world with diverse backgrounds, including academia, industry, and government, to share knowledge and experience.
