<p dir="ltr">The effective use of artificial intelligence (AI) is emerging within health and physical education (HPE) to improve learning outcomes. This article provides insight into the origin of AI, explores current research into the application of AI in HPE, and presents interdisciplinary research to provide practical and effective strategies for teachers. The article focuses on the broad category of AI in education (AIEd) with a specific focus on AI in the key learning areas of HPE and how AI can be used in the PE context.
